Project Description

We achieved full planning approval from West Northamptonshire Council for a comprehensive redevelopment scheme at 171–175 Wellingborough Road, Northampton. The proposal involved a basement extension, the merging of multiple units across the basement and ground floor levels, and alterations to the shopfront and external elevations.

The design was assessed as acceptable in terms of scale, siting, and visual impact, with conditions to ensure compliance with Policies S10 and BN9 of the Joint Core Strategy and Policy E20 of the Northampton Local Plan. The scheme was also supported by a Noise and Odour Assessment, demonstrating that the development would protect surrounding amenity.

This approval reflects our strength in delivering mixed-use redevelopment projects in Northamptonshire, securing consents that enhance commercial premises while aligning with planning policy.
