Project Description

This project involved the submission of a Prior Approval application for a proposed single-storey rear extension at 4 Russell Road, London N20 0TS, under permitted development rights for larger home extensions. The scheme comprised a rear extension with a maximum depth of 6.0 metres, a height of 2.96 metres, and an eaves height of 2.7 metres, designed to comply with the relevant prior approval criteria.

Our team managed the full preparation and submission of the application, successfully securing confirmation from the Local Planning Authority that prior approval was not required for the proposed development. This allowed the extension to proceed without the need for a full planning application, demonstrating a compliant and efficient route to delivery under permitted development legislation.

To support the submission, we produced a complete set of planning drawings and documentation, including existing and proposed floor plans, elevations, a site location plan, and detailed extension projection drawings for neighbour consultation and validation purposes, ensuring the application met all procedural and technical requirements.
