Project Description

Planning permission was granted by the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham for the installation of a kitchen extraction and ventilation duct projecting above the roof of the upper ground floor rear addition at 342 North End Road, London SW6 1NB. The proposal enabled the effective servicing of the commercial kitchen use while ensuring the external ducting was sensitively positioned to minimise visual impact within the rear elevation context and surrounding urban grain.

The application was supported by a targeted planning submission, including a Planning Statement, Design and Access Statement, and detailed technical drawings showing the proposed duct route and termination point. A ventilation strategy was also provided to demonstrate appropriate odour control and compliance with environmental standards. The proposal was found acceptable in planning terms and was therefore granted permission.
