Project Description

This planning application for 12 Southernhay, Basildon, Essex SS14 1EL, within the jurisdiction of Basildon Borough Council, involved the installation of a commercial extraction system complete with associated louvre and the provision of a new dedicated bin storage area. The proposals were carefully designed to balance operational requirements with the need to protect visual amenity and neighbouring uses within a busy mixed-use environment.

We prepared a comprehensive suite of supporting planning documentation, including a detailed planning statement, design and access considerations, existing and proposed drawings, and technical information relating to ventilation and waste management strategy. Through a policy-compliant submission and proactive coordination with the local authority, we successfully secured planning permission.
